Being a musician and passionate collector of instruments and being a recording artist requires a lot of maintenance work if you want everything to be usable. This is how everything started. I wanted musicians come to my studio and feel inspired by pianos that can all be played and recorded and actually sound good.
I wanted them to sound like they were intended to sound when they were manufactured. Signs of age, patina - that should be limited to the outer appearance. Function should be at its peak.
